THE Spring Forward party was held this year at the Figge Art Museum on March 9th, 2019. The evening included a toast to the many wonderful community partners that make Spring Forward’s programming possible. We set our clocks ahead in style as we enjoyed live music and hors d’oeuvres all night long at one of the Quad Cities’ most beautiful venues.

Stepping Up for Summer Learning
Area school-aged kids attending local summer camps will be bused to the Taxslayer Center on Thursday, July 11th, for a pep rally celebrating summer learning followed by a morning of enrichment and literacy activities. This is the second year of the event and we are expecting 30 community partners to participate in the fun day that also includes a sack lunch and popsicles. The activities kids can participate in during this free event include zoo animals, hands-on molecular activities, lock and dam demonstrations, writing games, flood model and tornado simulator, a drum circle, and more. This exciting collaborative event is possible through generous funding from John Deere.
